Carlton forward Charlie Curnow has been put through his paces and is set to line up against St Kilda on Friday night.
The 28-year-old went down in a heavy collision with teammate Tom De Koning at a closed session on Wednesday, 7NEWS Melbourne’s Mitch Cleary revealed in a late-night update.
Curnow, who has kicked 15 goals so far this season, appeared to grab at his knee afterwards.

He had also received treatment on his knee prior to training — but the Blues are adamant there is no concern on that front.
“He’ll be fine,” a cagey Michael Voss said on Thursday before Curnow completed the Captain’s Run session.
“The last 30 seconds of the drill, him and Tom had a nice little collision, so it’s not exactly what you want to see.
“I tried to have a bit of a laugh to fob it off, but holding his knee is incorrect.”
Voss rejected suggestions Curnow had been receiving pain-killing injections in his knee to train and play.
“You don’t need to know specifics, let’s just say he’s playing,” he said.
Curnow’s absence from a must-win clash would be a hammer blow for a Blues side reeling from a series of injuries and their heavy loss to Adelaide last week.
The news of his training knock sent fans into a panic, after a run of injuries having only recently — and briefly — gained most players back from injury.
“Seriously how cursed can we be??” one wrote, with another declaring “we are the most cursed club”.
Another said: “Just how many mirrors have Carlton broken?”
Jack Silvagni is set to return in defence after sitting out last week following surgery to repair his broken hand, but Zac Williams (calf) and Alex Cincotta (hip) are still out.
Matt Cottrell is sidelined with an ankle injury but was also managing a knee complaint, recently going under the knife for a “minor clean-up”.
Carlton lost Brodie Kemp to a season-ending Achilles injury last month while Harry McKay copped a concussion — and a facial fracture — in Round 5.
