As the AFL grand final looms, die-hard supporters have started revealing their colours, showing off face paint, festive outfits and even tattoos.

As the AFL grand final looms, die-hard supporters have started revealing their colours, showing off face paint, festive outfits and even tattoos.

Many of the most dedicated supporters showed up to their teams' training sessions - either decked out in yellow and black for Richmond Tigers or orange, white and charcoal for Greater Western Sydney Giants.

Some of the most memorable fan moments included a man with a roaring Tigers tattoo across the back of his head and some very bright GWS wigs.

But a sausage dog named 'Dusty' in a Richmond jacket stole the show down at Punt Road Oval.
