Young ute driver dies crashing into tree at Henty in southern NSW

The young man died at the scene.

A young driver has been killed in a single-vehicle crash in the south of NSW.

The sole occupant in his 20s was in a ute that crashed on Back Henty Rd, at Henty, about 50-minutes north of Albury, at 10pm on Thursday.

Back Henty Rd is a partially-unsealed road which runs parallel to a train line and the Olympic Hwy between Henty and Culcairn.

The young man died at the scene, NSW Police said.

A report will be prepared for the coroner.

Investigations are ongoing and anyone with information or dashcam footage is urged to contact Crime Stoppers.
