An actor who appeared on some of TV’s biggest shows, including Grey’s Anatomy, has died in horrific circumstances.
Brad Everett Young, 46, who later went on to be a renowned celebrity photographer, was returning home after watching a movie in Los Angeles when his car was struck by another vehicle travelling the wrong way on a freeway.
His publicist Paul Christensen confirmed the tragic news, saying Young, who was the sole occupant of the car, died the scene and the other driver was hospitalised, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Apart from his appearance on Grey’s as an appendectomy patient in 2008, Everett also had parts on Boy Meets World, Felicity and Numb3rs and in feature films Charlie’s Angels, Jurassic Park lll, I Love You, Man and The Artist and Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde.
Young was a regular at the red carpet of Hollywood premieres, snapping photos of some of tinsel town’s best-known celebrities, such as David Harbour, Seth Green and Sarah Michelle Gellar.
His work was featured in numerous publications, including The Hollywood Reporter, Vanity Fair, Vogue, Elle, Harper’s Bazaar, People and Variety.
Young founded non-profit Dream Loud Official, an organisation dedicated to helping save art and music programs in US schools.
“Brad’s passion for both the arts and the people behind them was unmatched,” a statement from Christensen read.
“He lived his mission of keeping creativity alive, and his legacy will continue through Dream Loud Official.”
Entertainment industry colleagues and friends have described Young as “kind, generous, and uniquely positive”, and revealed he often declined payment for his work to help boost the careers of others.
A number of stars have taken to social media to pay tribute, including Chris McKenna, who plays Jack on General Hospital. He wrote: “We won’t see another like him.”
