A woman has died after she was hit by a car while riding an e-bike on Queensland‘s Bribie Island.

Police believe the 79-year-old woman and a Ford Falcon were both travelling east on Goodwin Dr, Bongaree, when they collided about 8.30am on Monday.

The driver and sole occupant of the Ford was uninjured.

“Investigations are ongoing and no further information is available at this time,” Queensland Police said.
