A man has been arrested after a police station in Melbourne’s north was targeted.

Victoria Police say a man deliberately drove his car into Craigieburn police station, crashing into a pole about 3.40pm on Thursday.

He then allegedly exited his vehicle and damaged two windows of the building.

The man was arrested and will be interviewed. No charges have been laid.

The investigation remains ongoing.
