The injured driver was airlifted to hospital after the major crash.

A ute driver has died and another person is fighting for life after a serious three-vehicle crash in WA’s Wheatbelt region.

The collision between a truck, a white Toyota Hilux ute, and a white Isuzu D-Max ute occurred on Brookton-Corrigin Rd in Aldersyde, near Brookton, about 4.25pm on Tuesday.

The 30-year-old male driver of the Isuzu D-Max died at the scene.

The 19-year-old male driver of the Toyota Hilux suffered critical injuries and was flown to Royal Perth Hospital.

The 37-year-old male truck driver did not require medical treatment.

A Major Crash Investigation is underway, and police are urging anyone with information about the incident to come forward.
