The Mazda 3 sedan was left sitting on the veranda.

Two people have been injured after a car crashed into a house in southwest Sydney.

The white Mazda 3 sedan was found sitting on the elevated veranda of a house on Hillview Pde in Lurnea about 1.20am on Friday, partially embedded in the wall and windows.

Police said the driver and passenger were treated by paramedics for minor injuries.

7NEWS understands a 17-year-old man is among those injured.

There were no reports of anyone inside the house being injured.

The house suffered moderate damage following the crash, and Fire and Rescue NSW worked to stabilise the structure.

Authorities believe the car was travelling at high speed down Hill Rd, crossed Hillview Pde, struck a front brick wall, and launched into the air, landing on the elevated veranda.

An investigation into the cause of the crash is underway.
