Another man has been stabbed in a machete attack in Victoria, just days after the state banned the sale of the weapon.
An 18-year-old man was trying to refuel his car at a service station on Bridge Inn Rd in Melbourne’s Doreen, when he was approached by two men wearing balaclavas at about 9.50pm on Sunday.

CCTV footage shows the masked offenders getting out of a car and running towards the victim, wielding machetes.
One of them swung the machete at the young man who quickly ran away before the two offenders gave chase.
As the three ran off, four other people who had been sitting in the car also got out and ran from the scene.
The Doreen man then fled to a nearby fast-food restaurant for help, while the attackers escaped in a car.
The 18-year-old, who suffered a laceration to his forearm, was rushed to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Police are investigating the incident and are urging anyone with information to come forward.
Victoria banned the sale of machetes on May 28, after a violent clash between rival gangs at Northland Shopping Centre triggered a lockdown.
However, the ban on possession of the weapon will not come into effect until September 1.
