A second body has been pulled from floodwaters in NSW.

The body of a man was found near Rosewood on the NSW Mid-North Coast about 8am on Thursday.

Although yet to be formally identified, police believe it is a man, aged in his 30s, who went missing in floodwaters while driving.

Police had been searching for the man since it was reported a vehicle was trapped in the rising water at the intersection of the Oxley Hwy and Huntingdon Rd about 8.50pm on Wednesday.

The cause of the man’s death is under investigation.
