An ex-reality star who was attacked while trying to break up a fight has seen his attacker hit with a guilty verdict in Adelaide.
Paddy Colliar was stabbed while working as a topless waiter at a 60th birthday party in August 2021 at a Para Hills pole dancing studio after trying to help a young woman.
On Monday, the jury unanimously agreed that Colliar’s attacker, 26-year-old Abdul Amin, was guilty of the stabbing.

Colliar previously told the court tried to intervene in a fight between a young woman and Amin, when Collier was stabbed, leaving him in hospital with 10 stitches.
In court, Colliar said he saw Amin grab the woman around the throat and thrash her around “like a ragdoll”, prompting him to step in and stop the violence.
On Monday, Colliar spoke to the media after Amin was found guilty, and said justice had been done.
“I’m just overwhelmed... a bit lost for words at the minute, but you know justice has been served today and I feel good.,” he told 7NEWS.
During last week’s trial, Colliar relived the moment, telling the jury the moment he was stabbed by Amin, he said “felt a thump against my ribcage” followed by another patron calling out, “Oh My God Paddy, you’ve been stabbed.”
Colliar told the court, he looked down and saw a lot of blood pouring out of a wound.
“Like turning on a tap — like a fountain just pouring out blood,” he said.
Colliar also told the court Amin was very drunk and very aggressive that night and was constantly making inappropriate comments to women.
Amin said on April 3 that the knife used was his but claimed the knife was only used to cut the birthday cake at the 60th celebration.
“No I did not stab Paddy Colliar,” Amin told the district court.
“He’s assaulted me mate.”
According to the Advertiser, on Wednesday in court, Amin claims he had asked Colliar to leave because he was ‘Anglo-Saxon’.
Amin will return to court at a later date for his sentencing.
