A 25-year-old has been rushed to Flinders Hospital.

A young motorcyclist is fighting for his life in hospital after he collided with a car in Adelaide’s southern suburbs.

About 2.15pm on Wednesday, emergency services were called to a crash between a motorcycle and a car on Glynville Drv at Hackham West.

It is believed the motorcyclist crashed into the side of a Toyota SUV.

The 25-year-old rider suffered serious injuries and was rushed to Flinders Medical Hospital where he remains in a critical condition.

The driver of the SUV was uninjured.

Road users are asked to avoid the area where possible.
