Police probe Bli Bli property in search for missing man Andrew Burow

Family have not heard from the missing 56-year-old for a week.

A home on Queensland’s Sunshine Coast has been declared a crime scene by police investigating the suspicious disappearance of a 56-year-old man.

Andrew Burow, from Kelvin Grove in Brisbane, has not made contact with loved ones or associates for a week.

His disappearance, which was reported to Queensland Police on Sunday, has been described as “out of character”.

Detectives believe the situation is suspicious and hold significant concerns for his welfare.

An incident centre was launched by the Brisbane City Criminal Investigation Branch early on Wednesday and an address on Kokoda Ave in Bli Bli, an hour north of where Burow lives, has been declared a crime scene.

“Officers remain at the property as investigations continue,” Queensland Police said.

“Anyone with knowledge of his whereabouts or information about the missing person is urged to contact police immediately.”

Burow is Caucasian with a fair complexion, reddish and sandy hair, and bluish-green eyes.
