A gunman is on the run after opening fire on a suburban home in Sydney‘s inner west.
Police were called to Davidson Ave in Concord after reports of shots fired at a house at about 1.10am on Thursday.

A crime scene was established, with police confirming no one was home at the time of the incident and there were no reports of injuries.
“Damage to the front of the home consistent with a projectile,” police said.
A neighbour told Sunrise that he was getting ready for work when he heard gunshots.
“We heard six shots, and we looked at out the window and I didn’t see anything,” the man said.
“My wife thought it was, wind or some sort of storm noise.
“I said to my wife, ‘that’s not storm noise, (that’s) gunfire’.”
A short time later, emergency services were called to Stuart St, Burwood, following reports of a car fire.
Fire and Rescue NSW extinguished the fire, however, the vehicle was destroyed.
“The fire is being treated as suspicious and initial inquiries have led police to believe the two incidents may be linked,” police said.
“Detectives are also investigating whether the house involved was the intended target of the shooting.”
Investigations are ongoing.
