Pedestrian rushed to hospital after an alleged hit-and-run in Adelaide’s north

The 52-year-old woman was rushed in a critical condition to hospital.

A woman is fighting for her life in hospital after being struck by a vehicle in South Australia.

She was allegedly struck by a vehicle on Thirteenth Street at Gawler South — in Adelaide’s north — just before 7pm on Thursday.

The driver then allegedly left the scene of the crash, and is now wanted by SA Police.

The 52-year-old pedestrian suffered life-threatening injuries and was rushed in a critical condition to hospital.

Major Crash investigators, Barossa CIB detectives and forensic investigators attended the scene.

Anyone with information relating to the crash is urged to contact police.
