A pedestrian has died in a motorbike accident in Geelong, Victoria.

The crash occurred on Reserve Rd in Grovedale at around 10.05am on Friday.

Police say the pedestrian, who has not yet been formally identified, died at the scene.

The 20-year-old motorcyclist was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

“The exact circumstances surrounding the collision are yet to be determined and investigations remain ongoing,” police said.

Reserve Rd is expected to be closed for several hours.
