A pedestrian has been critically injured when he was struck by a car on Monday morning.
The man was hit on Geelong St, West Footscray in Melbourne at about 8.20am.
He was taken to hospital with critical injuries.

“The driver of the vehicle stopped at the scene,” police said.
Geelong St is closed and is expected to remain so for some time.
Police are investigating.
