A teenager is fighting for life after being stabbed multiple times during peak hour at a Western Sydney train station.
Emergency services were called to a bus stop near Merrylands Train Station in Western Sydney about 5.15pm on Monday following reports of a stabbing.

The 16-year-old victim sustained multiple stab wounds to the neck and back, and was rushed to Westmead Hospital in a critical condition.
Police were told the teenager was assaulted by two strangers, who then fled the scene.


The pair had a minor altercation with the victim about 15 minutes earlier, before returning armed with knives.
Police are now searching for the two male suspects, believed to be aged between 14 and 20.
7NEWS chopper footage shows a man was arrested nearby, not far from the station.
However, police have since confirmed the 33-year-old man was taken into custody on unrelated matters.
A crime scene has been established and investigations are ongoing.
