A driver has been repeatedly punched in an alleged assault on a Brisbane bus.
The 46-year-old bus driver was driving through Southbank about 6pm on Friday night when he asked a passenger to get off the bus.

Footage obtained by 7NEWS shows the passenger allegedly attacking the driver, punching him several times in the head.
The driver suffered ear and facial injuries, and will reportedly be off work for at least a week, according to the Rail, Tram and Bus Union.
Union officials say the attacker was asked to get off the bus near Southbank when he was identified as an alleged repeat offender, having allegedly assaulted bus drivers on previous occasions.
Queensland Police said a 21-year-old man was arrested at a home on Station Rd in Sunnybank on Sunday night in relation to the incident.
He has been charged with assault occasioning bodily harm and is expected to appear in the Brisbane Magistrates Court on Monday.
“Investigations into the incident continue and anyone with information or footage, who has not made contact yet, is asked to contact police,” Queensland Police said.
Union officials said they are calling for the introduction of public transport bans for repeat violent offenders, saying violence against its members is escalating, with incidents involving weapons and spitting on the rise.
