Both officers were injured in the crash.

Two police officers have been injured after a man allegedly rammed their vehicle during a traffic stop.

The officers had pulled over a grey Mercedes Benz C200 on Forest Hill Dr, near the intersection with Wingara Dr in Morayfield, north of Brisbane, about 1.20am on Tuesday.

As they approached the Mercedes to speak with the driver, the 33-year-old Burpengary man allegedly took off.

Body-worn camera footage captured officers repeatedly telling the driver: “Pop out of the car, mate,” but he didn’t respond.

Moments later, after officers returned to their car, he allegedly reversed the Mercedes into the police vehicle.

Both officers suffered minor injuries and were treated at the scene.

The driver was arrested shortly after.

He has since been charged with two counts of endangering a police officer while driving, and one count of possessing a dangerous drug, believed to be meth.
