A man has been rushed to hospital with serious injuries from an alleged acid attack.
The 59-year-old was allegedly attacked in a domestic violence-related incident about 9.15am on Darlington Dr at Banora Point, near Tweed Heads in NSW.
He was found “suffering serious injuries believed to be caused by an acid”, NSW Police said.

“He was treated at the scene by NSW Ambulance paramedics before being airlifted to a hospital in a serious condition.”
About 10am a 35-year-old man was arrested on Minjungbal Dr at Tweed Heads and taken to Tweed Heads Police Station.
