A major thoroughfare is closed in both directions following a collision between a truck and a car.

Police were called to King Georges Road, Wiley Park, in Sydney’s south-west, following reports of a collision.

Both drivers are being treated for various injuries.

All north and southbound lanes on King Georges Road are currently closed.
