A housemate of Pheobe Bishop has been taken into custody by police investigating the disappearance of the Bundaberg teenager.
Police said James Wood, 34, is assisting authorities in their search for the 17-year-old, who went missing while on her way to the airport.

“No charges have been laid,” Queensland police said on Wednesday.
The news comes on the same day police confirmed no physical searches for Pheobe remain ongoing.
Pheobe has not been heard from since May 15.
She was planning to fly to Perth in Western Australia to spend time with her boyfriend but failed to check in.
There were no sightings of her at Bundaberg Airport.
She has also not contacted friends or family and her bank accounts have gone untouched.
Wood shares a dilapidated home in the small town of Gin Gin, about 50km from Bundaberg, with Bishop and Tanika Bromley.
Wood and Bromley have been charged over unrelated alleged weapons offences.
7NEWS is not suggesting Wood or Bromley are involved in the disappearance of Bishop.
Police have repeatedly said both parties have been co-operative in the investigation.
Wood previously offered his fishing boat as a reward for information that could help locate Bishop.
Forensics had searched over her home and a Hyundai ix35 she is believed to have travelled to the airport in.
A search of dense bushland in the Good Night Scrub National Park — where cadaver dogs were deployed — has been scaled back.
“There are currently no physical searches for Pheobe at this stage,” police said.
“However, physical searches will happen as needed and as information is provided.”
Police said they were still investigating Bishop’s disappearance.
“Investigations are ongoing and police are continuing to run out several lines of enquiry,” they said.
The teen’s mother Kylie Johnson, who posts regular appeals for information, said today: “Starting day 20 with you still missing Pheobe.
“I don’t know if life will ever be the same again? I don’t know if I will ever look at the world the same way that I did before May 15.”
