Two people are fighting for life following a high-speed crash on the Gold Coast.
An allegedly stolen car travelling 200km/h was spotted by police going along the M1 Freeway late Saturday night.

The police helicopter pursued it along Eight Mile Plains where it crashed into another car.
A driver and passenger of the stolen car were severely injured and remain in a critical condition.
The driver of the other car suffered only minor injuries.
