Queensland Police said a suspicious item was located on the premises, prompting the Explosive Ordnance Response Team to attend.
The device was declared safe, and authorities confirmed there was no threat to the wider public.
Matthew Bailey, 34, from Labrador was arrested and later charged with bomb hoax, trespass and obstructing police.

He appeared in Southport Magistrates Court on Monday and told the court he “make a speaker” and “didn’t do anything wrong”.
“Only God will judge me,” he said.

He repeatedly shouted from the dock before being removed from the courtroom.
Police prosecutors raised concerns about his mental health.
He is undergoing assessment and remains in custody ahead of his next court appearance on Tuesday.
Investigations are ongoing, including claims other similar devices had been placed in the community, police confirmed.
