Exclusive vision has been obtained by 7NEWS of a former reality TV star performing a strange stunt only days before she was accused of murder in South Australia.

The former Beauty and the Geek contestant is accused of brutally killing her partner at a unit they shared in Port Lincoln on South Australia’s Eyre Peninsula.

The man’s body was found inside the home, following a fire on Thursday afternoon.

The woman was arrested at the scene and taken to a local hospital, where she was charged with murder.

In a bizarre twist, 7NEWS obtained footage of the woman standing on Port Lincoln war memorial wearing a white veil just weeks before the alleged crime.

The woman, who cannot be named for legal reasons, can be seen standing in a while dress holding a dark object in one hand being filmed by concerned members of the public.

It is understood she had recently moved in with the man she is alleged to have murdered.

Witness Jody Miller told 7NEWS he was one of the first on scene attempting to put out the fire, unaware of the body of a man lay inside.

“It’s devastating,” Miller said.

“This doesn’t happen in a small town like Port Lincoln.”

A court order has been placed over details of the case, however, police have said the unit is a complex scene.

Officers and forensics teams continue to gather evidence from within the unit, while police continue searches across town to piece together the woman’s movement prior to the fire.

The woman faced court on Friday via phone link and has been remanded in custody.

She did not apply for bail and will face court again at a later date.
