The car was set alight and destroyed part of the shop, which is next door to a tobacconist and a petrol station, as the driver fled the scene.
Fire and Rescue NSW attended the scene and extinguished the fire.
There were no injuries reported, NSW Police said.
It is the third time the shop has been targeted since April 25, when petrol was poured on the front and ignited.
Then, exactly a month ago, a ute crashed into the shop and was also set alight.
About 10 people, including children, had to be evacuated from the apartments above the store at the time.
Firefighters managed to extinguish the blaze within 40 minutes, however the shop was extensively damaged.
Police can not confirm at this stage whether the three incidents are linked.
Investigations are ongoing, and anyone with information has been urged to contact Crime Stoppers.
