The 29-year-old woman is facing several charges over her alleged ‘inappropriate relationship’ with a 15-year-old boy.

A Canberra woman has been charged with grooming and sexual assault of a boy she worked with.

The 29-year-old from Holt allegedly had an “inappropriate relationship” with the 15-year-old, ACT Police said.

The “relationship” was reported to police in May, and the woman was arrested at her home on Saturday.

Search warrants were executed on the woman’s vehicle and at her home in Canberra’s northwest.

She has been charged with groom a young person, possess child exploitation material, three counts of committing an act of indecency on a young person under 16 and two counts of sexual intercourse with a person aged between 10 and 16.

She faced ACT Magistrates Court on Monday and remains before the courts.
