“While formal identification is yet to take place, police believe the male to be missing 21-year-old man Finn Coyle.”
Coyle was last seen on Friday afternoon at his home in Carmel, in the Perth hills.
A large search team including police, SES and the Department of Fire and Emergency Services spent several days looking through thick bushland where he was known to love spending time.
A pre-recorded message from his mother was also played from a drone above the search area in an effort to guide him to safety.
His brother, Conor Coyle, said he had struggled with mental health.
“We will never give up, and we’ll always be here for him,” he said on Wednesday.
“We really want him to come home.”
A report will be prepared for the coroner.
