NSW bushfires: Three teenagers arrested in Sydney's south-west over arson allegations

Police say they can be dealt with under the Young Offender's Act.

Three teenage boys have been arrested after a grassfire was allegedly deliberately lit in Sydney's south-west.

The trio, two aged 15 and one 16, were detained on Sunday evening.

Authorities were alerted to a fire in the bush at Harrington Park about 5.30pm on Sunday by a passing driver.

The fire was extinguished after about 45 minutes.

All three teens were taken to Narellan Police Station for questioning.
