Two bomb threats were made within 48 hours.

A woman has been charged after two bomb hoaxes triggered fear at a childcare centre and high school.

Police allege threatening messages were sent to a Redland Bay childcare centre and Runcorn State High School in Brisbane, Queensland, on July 24 and 25.

Detectives from the Bayside Criminal Investigation Branch charged the 50-year-old woman on July 25 with two counts of making a bomb hoax, claiming a bomb was present when it wasn’t.
