A high-speed ferry with Australian travellers onboard has capsized off the coast of Bali.
The boat was travelling from Nusa Penida island to Sanur, on the east coast of Bali’s main island, when it crashed about 100m off the coast about 3pm local time on Tuesday.

Two Chinese nationals were killed and 15 people were hospitalised, Sunrise reports.
There were 80 people onboard, including five Australian travellers — three men and two women — when a large wave smashed the boat.
The local hospital has since told 7NEWS no Australians have been admitted.
The Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade said it has confirmed the welfare of all Australians involved and is standing by.
“We are working with local authorities to confirm no other Australians were affected and stand ready to provide consular assistance should it be required,” DFAT said.
The Sydney Morning Herald reports 73 of the people on board were foreigners, and that the missing person is a local crew member.
One of the Australian survivors, who was on the ferry with two of his Australian friends, told 7NEWS they were “shaken” by the incident.
He believes the missing person, a 23-year-old Indonesian man, has drowned.
7NEWS was told the struggling local had tried to grab onto one of the Australians but they were unable to save him.
The Australian trio had been sitting on the top level of the ferry, which they believe made it easier to escape.
“I couldn’t imagine being stuck inside with 60-plus people,” one of the Australian survivors said.
“The father of a family apparently tried to break a window with a fire extinguisher and filled the cabin’s air with smoke.”
He said they were relieved to find that the two Australian women who had also been onboard were alive and well, upon reaching the shore.
The men were able to retrieve some of their belongings, but the women lost everything including their passports.
Footage of the incident shows locals rushing from the beach into the water to help people who had fallen in, including children, and a woman who appeared unresponsive as she was carried to shore.

The tragedy comes almost one month after another ferry sank in Bali, off Banyuwangi in East Java.
A three-year-old boy and his mother were among the six people who were killed on July 3.
An officer at the port witnessed the sinking before rescuers could be alerted, and many of those rescued were found unconscious after drifting in choppy waters for hours, with 2m-high waves impacting the rescue.
