A number of South Australian residents were left shaken on Sunday night, after a 2.8 magnitude earthquake struck the Adelaide Hills, Fleurieu Peninsula and Murraylands.
The quake occurred at 10.01pm, at depth of 2km, south of Strathalbyn.
The earthquake is considered on the weaker side, but more than 800 reports were made to Geoscience Australia.

A number of nearby residents claimed that they heard windows rattling and a rumbling noise.
Reports came from as far north as Angle Vale, south to Victor Harbor and east to Wellington.
On social media, a resident claimed she felt the house shake.
“I live in a 130-year-old house in Strathalbyn (and the earthquake) rattled the windows and shook the house,” a social media user wrote.
