Kmart shoppers are obsessing over a $49 gadget that will change how you do laundry at home.
The portable clothes dryer has received rave reviews online - with customers saying it’s the perfect appliance if you don’t have a dryer or balcony space to hang wet garments.

“No dryer? No problem. We are obsessed with this find,” a shopper said in a now-viral video.
“This alien-looking clothes hanger is a Kmart secret and I’m not gatekeeping. It’s a portable clothes dryer.
“Zip it up in this case, turn on its timer and it dries your wet clothes in one to two hours.
“I don’t have a dryer. This keeps me organised to count on my clothes being dry when I need them.”
With a drying temperature of 60-85C, the dryer with an umbrella-shaped stand features a tent cover to circulate hot air around the clothes, and it’s suitable for setting up in apartments or small spaces.
Customers have given the product a five-star rating online - as many shared their glowing reviews after giving the dryer a go.
“Great product, even dries jeans. Can’t take a lot of clothing but great to dry school clothes in a hurry and doesn’t use as much electricity as a tumble dryer. Highly recommend,” one shopper claimed.
Another said: “Love the fact that when I’m not using it I can pack it away. And can double as a clothes airer by taking off the tent if you don’t need to use the heating function.”
