Best bomber jacket Australia: Kmart shoppers go wild over $40 dupe that looks similar to $650 item

‘I have been eyeing this off.’

Winter fashion is upon us, as the cooler weather makes us reach for warming tops and jackets.

What if you could buy a lookalike of a designer jacket that normally costs $650 — for just $40?

Kmart has just released a bomber jacket for $40 and shoppers are saying it’s a ‘dupe‘ of the designer Anine Bing’s Leon Bomber Jacket, which retails at $650.

The cool-girl staple from Kmart is made from nylon and recycled polyester as the padding as well as woven, twill fabric.

The jacket features a ribbed baseball neck, zip front closure, short length, long sleeves with ribbed cuffs and ruched detail.

The Kmart ‘dupe’ comes in a khaki green and the size range is from 6-20.

The designer jacket from Anine Bing, which retails for $650, comes in Army Green, Champagne, Midnight Blue and Black.

The high-end jacket, described as a traditional military-inspired bomber jacket, is made from a durable, slightly padded 100 per cent polyester shell with a subtle sheen.

It’s cut for a relaxed, oversized fit and has a smaller size range compared to Kmart, as it comes only in an XS, S, M and L.

Although the designer jacket is made from higher quality materials, shoppers are going crazy for Kmart’s ‘dupe’ version.

“I have been eyeing this off,” said one.

“Another superb dupe - thanks Kmart for keeping us stylish for so much less $$,” said another.

“Holy 90s,” added a third.
