Prince Harry has strongly denied a shocking new claim from a forthcoming book that he once got into a physical altercation with his uncle, Prince Andrew.

The allegation appears in the first joint biography of Andrew and his former wife, Sarah Ferguson, written by acclaimed royal biographer Andrew Lownie.

According to Lownie, a “heated argument” erupted between Harry and Andrew during a family gathering in 2013, triggered by “something Andrew said behind Harry’s back.”

The confrontation allegedly escalated to the point where “punches were thrown,” leaving Andrew with a bloody nose.

Lownie also claims that Andrew, behind closed doors, voiced scepticism about Harry’s relationship with actress Meghan Markle, allegedly calling her an “opportunist” and predicting that the marriage wouldn’t last.

Harry has firmly shut down these explosive claims.

“I can confirm neither of those things are true,” a spokesperson for the Duke of Sussex told People.

“Prince Harry and Prince Andrew have never had a physical fight, nor did Prince Andrew ever make those comments about the Duchess of Sussex to Prince Harry.”

In the biography, which portrays Andrew as a divisive figure and examines his ties to convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, Lownie also claims that Prince William has privately expressed strong disapproval of the disgraced royal.

It is understood that the heir to the throne has been quietly working on removing the Duke of York from the Royal Lodge, the Windsor estate he still occupies.

However, Andrew reportedly presented King Charles with documentation showing he is legally entitled to stay in the property, effectively ending the push to evict him.

The new claims follow speculation that Harry is making fresh overtures to his estranged family, with some describing his latest actions as the clearest sign yet that the Duke of Sussex wants back in.

In what royal insiders say is a bid to ease tensions, Harry has quietly offered to share his official diary with Buckingham Palace. The proposed transparency move is intended to avoid scheduling conflicts with the royal family and stamp out claims that the Sussexes are competing for attention.

Some palace watchers see it as a genuine attempt at diplomacy.

The Duke and King last met in February, shortly after King Charles’ diagnosis. If Prince Harry’s calendar-sharing strategy works, the next meeting could be on friendlier terms.
