Farmer Wants a Wife favourite Claire Saunders, the partner of Farmer Andrew, has provided an important life update about the current state of her family.

Her fur family, that is.

Taking to her Instagram stories, Claire posted a video of her pets eagerly awaiting some food.

In the video, Mowgli, a pug, could been seen gazing up at the camera adorably while Dusty, a labrador, appears laser-focussed on the food bowl.

“All waiting patiently for dinner,” the video was captioned.

“Dusty hasn’t been very well so I’m cooking up a vitamin boost for all the boys.”

She then listed the ingredients of the special doggy meal she was preparing: Chicken, beef mince, green beans, broccoli, gluten-free pasta and boiled eggs.

Dusty holds a special place in Claire’s heart. In a previous post she has described him as her “handsome blonde sidekick”.

“Dusty, always a model,” she captioned one snap.

As well as horses, it’s clear dogs are an incredibly important part of Claire and Andrew’s life on the farm.

A week ago, Claire shared a video of four of their working dogs sitting in the back of their ute, soundtracked to the Thin Lizzy song The Boys Are Back in Town.

The post was simply captioned: “Our boys”.

Fans loved the sweet video.

“Cute fur boys,” one fan wrote.

“So much happiness in one truck,” wrote another.

“Gorgeous x 4,” said a third.

Pug Mowgli was not amongst the working dog posse, however.

Mowgli is a recent addition to the farmer family, a surprise gift from Andrew.

Announcing the arrival of Mowgli in July, Claire wrote: “Haha not sure he will make a good working dog but OMG my heart.”

In a separate picture, Claire is shown cuddling Mowgli, who is looking directly at the camera, ready for his selfie.

For anyone curious about the name, Mowgli is the main fictional character in Rudyard Kipling’s The Jungle Book stories.

In another cute photo, a rather sodden-looking Mowgli is all wrapped up in a pink towel.

“Little drowned pug-rat,” Claire captioned the photo.

In another recent photo, Claire is sitting in a bobcat with Dusty sprawled all over her.

“Bobcat or bobdog,” the cute photo was captioned.

“Awww good helper,” one fan wrote.

“That is so cute, he wants to be with his mum,” noted another.
