The Aussie university student behind a booming plant empire that’s made a name for its clever “Green Sticky Traps” has launched a Black Friday sale.

UBloomd was started by student Emily Goldsmith in May 2021 when she fell in love with indoor plants but was frustrated by the limited and ugly pest-catching solutions on the market.

Deciding to create her own product from scratch, Emily eventually came up with her winning formula: the Green Sticky Traps.

The traps are designed to be used on your precious indoor plants to deter and trap flying pests like fungus gnats, white flies, fruit flies, thrips, aphids and more.

Crucially, the traps are waterproof and non-toxic to kids and animals.

They are also incognito inside your foliage, meaning you won’t have to ruin your aesthetic while keeping your plants safe.

Speaking about her journey to launching UBloomd, Emily said it wasn’t all plain sailing.

“When I started my plant journey I had no idea how to take care of a potted plant. I overwatered and killed more plants than I dare to think about,” Emily said.

“But I always learn from my mistakes, and with practice, patience, and time I learned the unique needs of each plant, and discovered joy and serenity in their care.”

But when all of her plants started dying due to a proliferation of flying pests, she knew she needed a solution.

“Determined to find a natural and discreet solution, I dedicated myself to developing a way to remove flying pests from indoor plants,” she said.

“And thus, UBloomd was born.”
