Australian Fashion Week 2025 has officially come to an end, with some of our favourite fashion brands taking to the runway to showcase their highly-anticipated Resort ‘26 collections.

Unlike the couture collections across the globe, Australia is home to plenty of homegrown heroes with friendly price tags, making it easier than ever to add local labels to your wardrobe.

We’ve rounded up five Aussie-made fashion brands spotted at the shows and on the streets, from must-have denim to Euro-summer essentials and trending eyewear.

1. AJE

Almost everyone I know has worn an AJE ensemble to a wedding or special occasion — and for good reason.

Home to prints, puffs and signature drop waists, the local label is a go-to for hundreds of shoppers in the market for a show-stopping outfit.

The latest collection to make its way down the runway during Fashion Week showcased plenty of pastel, ruffles and flower motifs.

If you’re planning a Euro summer getaway, you’ll want to add the Vacation Gown, $799, and Soleil Large Stud earrings, $299 to your cart once they land on site.

2. Lee Mathews

Unveiling the Resort ‘26 collection as a celebration of 25 years, Lee Mathews is a staple for Aussie women across the globe.

Showcasing plenty of checkered prints, peter pan collars and flowing silhouettes, there’s plenty of pieces already our wishlist for when the collection drops next year.

In the meantime, we’re busy browsing the Autumn Winter collection, and have already bookmarked the Betty Blouse, $469, and everyday Leo Jean, $399, in an olive colourway.

3. Ugg Express

Not one, but two Aussie brands incorporated the homegrown footwear brand Ugg Express into their Sydney shows this year.

Fluffy thong slides, $60, were spotted on the feet of models walking the runway at Albus Lumen in black and white colourways, some even adorned with pearls.

Over at Gary Bigeni, the Australian designer paired the EVERAU Leather Pointed Toe Ballet Flats, $75, to match the fun pastel shades on show.

4. Abrand

Double denim is still very much a trend for 2025 and played a big part in Fashion Week’s street style. There’s no better time to stock up on some classic jeans as we head into Autumn.

Abrand is a Melbourne-founded brand, best-known for the high-quality denim and signature tees, and remains a firm-favourite for plenty of Aussies across the country.

Ready to update your denim drawer? The newly-released 99 Low Mega Baggy Nicky, $111.95, is getting plenty of attention, while the 94 High & Wide Eva is still a best-seller thanks to the comfortable high rise and flattering fit.

5. QUAY

Off the runway, plenty of attendees were wearing the fashion-week must-have; a pair of sunnies. In particular, QUAY Australia.

Home to hundreds of trendy frames, the Aussie label has a wide range of specs to choose from. And best yet, they are currently offering a ‘buy one, get one free’ offer so you can stock up on a few pairs.

Spotted at Carriageworks were the circular ANYWAYS, $125, and aviator JET SET sunglasses, $111, to name a few.
