As the name suggests, the TVs OLED display technology delivers exceptional picture quality with deep blacks, vibrant colours and incredible contrast, so you can easily differentiate between the athlete and the ball they’re hitting when the tennis starts in Melbourne.
The S95D also excels in motion handling with a refresh rate of up to 144Hz, making it ideal for fast-paced action movies and gaming.
This high refresh rate minimises motion blur and provides a smoother, more immersive viewing experience for anyone sitting on the couch in front of it.
The sound is incredible in its own right but adding the Q-Series Soundbar HW-Q990D to it proved to be a game-changer, and we’ll really have to be careful how loud we have it so as not to disturb the neighbours.
Smart features are also a major highlight, with the TV providing seamless access to a wide range of streaming services and apps, including both Optus Sport and Kayo.
The intuitive interface makes it easy to navigate and control the TV, while built-in voice assistants like Bixby and Alexa offer convenient hands-free control too.
One of the coolest additions to the TV was its solar-powered remote control, which can just be placed under a regular light in your house or near a window to recharge every so often.

And I’m certainly not the only person enjoying their new TV.
