The formula contains royal jelly extract and pyrrolidone carboxylic acid — which increases water content or hydration in the hair — to mositurise and nourish.

According to the ingredients list, seven essences work to strengthen and repair the hair from root to tip, resulting in shiny and healthy hair from the inside out.

More than 300 tubs of the Shiseido hair mask have been purchased in the past month alone on Amazon and 74 per cent of customer reviews are five stars.

So how do you use it?

After shampooing light wring out the hair until it’s just damp.

Apply an appropriate amount (two teaspoons for semi-long hair) around the damaged part of your hair and leave it on for between five and 10 minutes.

Rinse well immediately after and ensure you’re using it once or twice a week.
