Being a woman is tough.

In fact, if you agree with America Ferrera’s speech in the Barbie movie, it’s “literally impossible”.

“You have to be thin but not too thin...you have to have money but you can’t ask for money... you have to be a career woman but also always be looking out for other people....”

You know the one.

Then of course there’s kids, social expectation, ageing parents, mental load.

The list is endless, and it’s something Melbourne businesswoman Alisha Marfatia saw in her career journey all the time.

Aged 27, she has built two successful online businesses but amidst all her dream-achieving times she witnessed the burnout, crippling anxiety and severe depression that success can wreak on women, herself included.

It was this experience that inspired her to create Full & Filled, a brand that speaks to women who, like her, strive for excellence while seeking balance and self-love.

The idea is simple.

Full & Filled is beautiful, limited edition glassware that not only serves as a functional tool (H2O anyone?) but is also inscribed with an affirmation that reminds the owner to prioritise self-care, self-love, and the pursuit of one’s dreams.

The glasses, which come with a metal straw, are visual reminder to refill your own cup, both physically and mentally.

Coming in a generous 750mL size, the collection includes lines like:

“I am more than enough.”

“You are loved.”

“I don’t chase. I attract.”

They come wrapped in premium packaging so the unboxing feels like a luxury and they are built to be practical too and are all dishwasher safe.

The response from women has been overwhelmingly positive and many have taken to social media to comment how the idea resonates with them.

“Oh my goooodnesssss I am OBSESSED with these designs 😍 how gorgeous!!” said one Instagram follower.

“What an awesome Christmas gift idea, they are stunning,” said another.

International fans have asked whether Alisha ships overseas to which the answer is a big yes.

It’s a relief for the girl in the Netherlands who says she “Absolutely loves your cups!”

“The brand is a heartfelt response to the pain, exhaustion, and self-neglect that countless women experience, and it’s a way of saying, ‘You deserve to fill up your own damn cup,’” Alisha says.

“I want my story and brand to be the invitation every woman needs to embrace self-care as a lifestyle, not just a buzzword.”
