If you’re anything like me, you’ll know it’s not just the reformer Pilates class you need to look good for — but the coffee or brunch catchup with a friend afterwards.

So often at the weekends, I find myself going to a class at 8 or 9am and then out for breakfast, and before I know it I’m still in my activewear by 3.30pm.

For this reason, when it comes to activewear shopping, I’m always in the market for hard-working, stylish basics that look as good in a fitness studio as they do outside it.

Which is why Nimble Activewear’s new “Breakfast Club” range is music to my ears.

Drawing inspiration from cafe culture and featuring key colours including Cappuccino, Avocado and Toast, along with playful, vintage-style graphics, the collection includes perfect layering pieces for post-exercise hangs.

My top picks include the Avo Good Day Knit ($189), which features a stylish cream colour and slices of avocado and eggs on toast, as well as the Everyday Branded Knit ($189), which comes in Cappuccino and Olive colours and is perfect for throwing over your sports bra and crop top after class.

Elsewhere, I’ve got my eyes on the Everyday Knit Shorts ($109) and the Rec Shorts ($99), which come in avocado, bluebell and desert tan colourways.

According to Nimble’s founders Vera Yan and Katia Santilli, the “Breakfast Club” collection was designed for versatility — and Vera and Katia wanted to create lifestyle pieces that could take you through your day.

The product range’s use of lightweight, breathable fabrics allows our customers to move comfortably, but also, use for all those moments in between — from workouts to commutes and, of course, breakfast clubs,” the girls told Best Picks.

“We continue to prioritise sustainability byusing recycled materials and eco-friendly techniques whenever possible.

“As a result, our customers not onlylook good but feel good knowing they are making a conscious choice.”
