Amazon has slashed the price of one of its popular Echo speakers by 51 per cent in one of the best deals the Best Picks team have spotted this week.
For a limited time only, the Echo Pop speaker will cost just $39 instead of $79.
The speaker — which comes in black, white, purple and turquoise — is fully compatible with both wi-fi and Bluetooth, and it works with Alexa, so you can ask it questions and give orders, too.

According to Amazon, the compact smart speaker is “perfect for bedrooms and small spaces” because it will blend in in a room, but also “stand out” in terms of sound quality.
“You can ask Alexa to play music, audiobooks and podcasts from your favourite providers, or have it set timers, check the weather, read the news, make calls, answer questions, add to your shopping list and more,” product information states.
The deal is already proving popular, with hundreds of Echo Pop speakers already being sold this month.
