Amazon has this week unveiled the third generation of its beloved Echo Show 8 and it’s a game-changer.

This upgraded smart display boasts a sleek new design, a lightning-fast processor and a sound system that packs a punch.

I actually own an earlier model of the Echo Show range which has taken up residence next to the sink in our kitchen.

While initially I wasn’t sure how much use I would get out of it, it has actually become a pivotal part of my home.
